ROOTED (Children's Faith Formation)

"As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." - Col 2.6-7

Program Overview

The curriculum for Children's Faith Formation this year will focus on developing a balanced sense of spirituality and religiosity in the children. We will be using a three-part approach:

1) By studying Scripture and the Catechism, our students will learn the theological doctrines of our Catholic Faith.

2) By praying in class and at home and celebrating the Sacraments, our students will develop a loving relationship with God.

3) By hearing about the examples of the saints, our students will gain positive, Christian role models for how to love God and love our neighbors.

This year, classes will only be offered on Sundays from 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM in the Parish School classrooms. This is due to an effort by the parish to unite the community on Sundays.

While the children are in class, we are proud to offer several programs for Adult Faith Formation. More information about the programs can be found on the Adult Faith Formation page here.

One of the offerings, catechesis for parents and methods for bringing the Faith to life in the home, will be offered in the Parish School Art Room.
